March 13th. Seven daily flights. Baltimore, Chicago, Nashville, Houston, and Orlando. Two daily flights to Baltimore and Chicago with the others being once a day. Thank you Nigel Robertson from WYFF.
This is a great start! And once GSP proves to be a wonderful addition to Southwest's lineup (it won't take long), they will give us even more flights and more destinations.

Interesting.....GSP is getting one additional destination over Charleston, and in GSP, they will use two gates, vs one gate in Charleston.
Southwest Airlines is coming to the Palmetto State! Today, Southwest announced it will begin service to/from Charleston International Airport (CHS) and Greenville-Spartanburg Airport (GSP) on March 13, 2011.
In Greenville-Spartanburg, the airline will begin service with seven daily nonstop flights to five destinations: two to Baltimore/Washington, two to Chicago Midway, one to Nashville, one to Houston Hobby, and one to Orlando. Southwest Airlines will operate from gates A3 and A4 in Greenville-Spartanburg's main terminal.
Interesting they didn't call GSP by its official name.

To kick off service, cheap, cheap, cheap.....something like $30 each way. Not sure how long that last and which cities in the network are involved from GSP.
Also found it very intersting, they are calling GSP the 70th city in the network and Charleston th 71st city. I like that.

Well the video, the plane coming in and some funny comments were the best parts of the LiveStream.
