Heard some rumors a few years ago about the Cheesecake Factory putting a location in Greenville. Anyone know what happened with those plans? Currently the closest one is a 2 1/2 hour drive away in Atlanta!
Have eaten there many times in NYC and would love to see one here in Greenville.

Wow, better not tell my wife, we went to a restaurant in Charlotte for her birthday last year @ the Southpark Mall called The Cheesecake Factory.

I know what you mean since relocating to South Carolina I miss eating there. It is such a beautiful restaurant with the murals drawn on the ceiling. Not to mention the mixed drinks, food and cheesecake. Yum, Yum!

You missed my point. You said that the closest one was 2 1/2 hours away in Atlanta. We went to the one in Charlotte, an hour closer to us then Atlanta. Hopefully we'll get ours soon. I really want CF and Buca di Beppo.

Good point!! Hope you are right about them locating one here soon. What is CF and Buca di Beppo?
CF is Cheesecake Factory and Bucca di Beppo is an amazing Italian chain that emphasizes great food, great fun and huge family style portions. We used to always go there for birthdays when we still lived in California. I provided the link to their website in my post, click on it and check them out. There's one in Charlotte as well.
