Several families moving from Florida Lot's of questions?????
We have three different families wanting to move out Florida and we are looking into Greenville. How is the job market? Are fields are teaching, construction, automotive, health insurance auditor, and banking. We were looking in Charlotte but we were not thrilled by all the traffic. We are looking for any information about the area. We all have small children and we are looking for a family community with things to do for children. More importantly how is the school system there? Any information would be greatly appreciated, we are planning a trip in November. Thanks!

Greenville
Hello! Greenville is a great place to live! One of the reasons is how close it is to the mountains! Also there is a Happy Cow Creamery that has low grade pasteurized milk that only travels 48 feet from cow to jar! No hormones, antibiotics, or homogenization. Plus organic meats, veggies, cheese, etc. Only 30 min from the Greenville airport.
If you are looking for income opportunities, there is a special event this weekend Nov 30th if you are up visiting from FL. It is at the Hilton Greenville, and is sponsored by Reliv International, a Food Science company that holds the most US govt Food patents in the US. An excellent income opportunity with 5 streams of income. Build it from home, then take it international if you choose.
Have a great day! Let me know if you want more info!

Is this board turning into a place to promote one's business on a thread or has it always been that way? Obviously people are trying to plug their MLMs or real estate business without paying for an ad. I find this to be a real turnoff on a message board. Anyone else have this same feeling?

I've noticed that too, and yes, it's getting super annoying.
To the OP, I recommend using the search at the top of the page. Not pushing you away, it's just that all of your questions have been answered many, many times in other threads.

I wouldnt have it any other way than Greenville. The job market from what i have seen is booming and growing larger daily. Very many banks for the banker, lots of schools for the teacher and me still being in high school i can tell you how quickly new teachers come in. As far as the automotive, are you talking about selling or mechanic work? Because if your a salesman then the Motor Mile is where you wanna look. Car industry is great in that area. As far as mechanic work, White Horse Road is the place for you because thats where all the used car lots are and they are always in need of mechanics. Unfortuantley the living area around white horse road isnt great so youd probbably have to commute. Construction is also a large business here right now seeing as how the city is growing so rapidly. The school system ranked last in the nation but honestly i havent seen anything wrong with it. The harsher dicipline in school has made the in-school crime decrease greatly. When i say in-school crime, i mean assults and drug possesions, both of which used to be a common thing but arent anymore. But i think you would not be dissapointed with a move to greenville
