A rare retailer that doesn't even exist in Raleigh, Nashville, or anywhere in South Carolina until now has opened up at Haywood Mall: Bare Escentuals - Natural Cosmetics for the Body and Face

My niece was just here and she went to some clothing store on North Main that sells vintage (aka what I call used <G>) clothing. She got a cute dress and boots. I forget the name of it but it shouldn't be hard to find. It's at the beginning of main street downtown.

In a word, it's disgusting. Replace it with hardwoods and then we'll talk. The foodcourt is awful as well. The rest is pretty nice. You're correct about the outside, other than the remodeled entrances the rest of the edifice reeks of 1950's Soviet era commie blocks. The outside of JC Penny's is, well, ahem....

This is totally my speculation but I expect a mall or should I say, "lifestyle center" to be built on Harrison Bridge Rd./Fairview in the next 5-7 years. It's the epitome of prime real estate and the demographics are there. This county has the pop. to support more than 1 mall.

Friday we were in Lennox Square in Atlanta. That's a mall!
the haywood mall is my fav mall in greenville sc so nice and clean. my fav store is american eagle. nice stores and nice people who work there. md 92

On page 4 of this thread there are photos from 2008 of a newly constructed shopping center with a Fresh Market. Where is that?

This is on E. Antrim Dr. between Laurens Rd. (276) and N. Pleasantburg (291) across from Camelot Cinemas. Near (the old) McAlister Square.
