I hope they carry the raspberry filled donuts with the white icing on top! Months ago, QT stopped selling those..... with no good answer as to why! Of course, maybe I was the only one who loved those donuts?

Not sure what you all are complaining about. QT is awesome and is by far the best gas station in the area. Go to Citgo if you want to see a truly crappy gas station.

Could the new store be around South Carolina Highway 153 and Interstate 85?

IMHO they need to focus on basic cleanliness even more than on physical remodels. My experience regardless of location I've been into in recent years is the stores, and particularly the restrooms, are dirty. It doesn't cost a lot to keep a retail store clean but it makes a huge difference in impression to customers.

This is one area where QT generally does a great job. The one in Powdersville frequently power washes the parking lots and cleans the gas pumps.

That would be within 1 mile of the current store. I'd guess it's more likely to be at the intersection of I-85 and SC-86, where there is currently a Spinx and Pilot. That intersection has 2 undeveloped spots near the interchange that would be good locations. Many might argue that's more of a Piedmont location than Powdersville.

It appears to have opened today. Gas is $1.89.

not really anything on sale either like they did for other grand openings. They really cheapened this store. Small area for pumps. Lots of big rigs in and out with no place for them to park when the land is for sale right behind it. Spinx is 1/2 mile up the street and QT could have done a truck stop here and would have had a ton of traffic just from magna alone. Really disappointed about this and the rear entrance only. If it wasn`t for spinx having the best chicken around and always having the best soft drink prices I would have no need for them as I hate Spinx because of his involvement in the southern connector. Also QT`s selection of lottery tickets is terrible

Looks like QT is leading the charge on raising prices in response to the hurricane in TX. Passed 3 locations this morning with the price set at $2.25. Most other stations were around $2.09 but I'm sure they'll be raising prices shortly in response.

I wish QT was still one of the low price leaders on gas in the area but it seems they have taken the opposite tactic - raise prices first and see how much the competition will respond.

If QuikTrip wants to increase prices for the sake of price gouging during a natural disaster, it could find itself in legal trouble with the State of South Carolina.

I have been filling up at Ingle's for the past year. The quality and the prices are better than QuikTrip.
