Sephora will be opening a store within JCPenney at Haywood in April / May 2011. For anyone who hasn't seen a Sephora within JCP, below is a photo. They are bascially a full line Sephora, just slightly smaller.

Well, there's one of the tenants I mentioned Haywood Mall was in negotiations with on Urbanplanet. Good to see it come true. Job listings are posted for Sephora in Greenville now as well.

I saw the job postings as well.

Sephora, in addition, is still looking to add a freestanding store to the Greenville market.

That's great- I've heard a lot about them but have never shopped there. Can't wait 'til it opens!

I responded to the post on UP before seeing this, but I will be curious to know where else in the Greenville market they are looking. I heard a couple of months ago that they were considering Haywood Mall as well as downtown, but did not know any specifics. I doubt they would put a freestanding store in Haywood with the JC Penney store happening, so maybe the Sephora downtown rumor is growing some legs...

On a personal note, I love Sephora. They have great men's products!

I'm trying to think of a space available on Main Street downtown fitting for Sephora and I can't think of anything. They're all too small.
