Your photos are fantastic, p2y2r70! I especially like the one of Table Rock with the lake in the foreground and the second monochrome.

G-man430, I've seen some great photos from you, too. Please don't let lack of recognition stop you from sharing your work. Skyliner is clearly a better photographer than I am, but I don't let that stop me from posting. The idea is to have fun and improve your photographic skills and share the beauty of our area with others. We each seem to see it differently, so the more the merrier, I say. (Unless, of course, you're like guestposter and don't want anyone moving to Greenville.)

I think it is about time to add a few photos to this thread. Below are several shots from the beautiful Eastatoe Valley in northern Pickens County. I love fly fishing for trout in that valley and nearby on the Eastatoe Creek, which flows into Lake Keowee.

Hint: Don't hesitate to click the link under each photo if you would like to see a larger image. On the flickr.com page, just click on "All Sizes," then choose which size you wish to view. Enjoy!

Coming from Maryland, one thing that I particularly enjoy is the view of the mountains off in the distance while running normal, everyday errands. Turn a corner and WOW, there they are! I live right in between Greenville and Pickens county, about 2 miles from the county line. Also working in Spartanburg, I get treated to that view on my way home.
