Anyone know anything about it?

We are looking at a house there, but there seems to be quite a few houses for sale in the neighborhood.... makes me wonder if it's b/c of something besides the economy?

Any info on that particular subdivision or Ft. Inn in general would be awesome!

I sold one there several years ago. It seems to be going down hill and it would be hard to build equity there. There are several more neighborhoods in Ft. Inn that are better for the money. You are correct. There are 14 homes for sale in there right now.

Which if, I'm hearing you correctly, means you suspect the downward trend for this neighborhood to continue. I realize that neighborhood is probably sinking faster, but isn't that the general market trend right now for just about anywhere? I also wonder what motivates those 14 to sell. Do you know if any are vacancies or foreclosures? The first would suggest job change, I think. Other than those two possibilities would suggest mortgages being underwater with ppl trying to salvage what they can before it gets much deeper?

In the last 3 months 8 homes have sold here. Average price is $80K. I see several tht lost 20K+ in 6 to 7 years. Not average for this area.
This is just my humble opinion but again I try to keep my clients out of this neighborhood.

But they are both overpriced at this time WAZEAZ. 415 Quail Run Circle just sold for $225K, two story brick with pool.

I know..we feel the same way..we bought ours at a fair price, if not better than fair..I heard 415 was bought sight unseen by a family from Buffalo NY...
The prices need to come down...they have both been on the market for some time...
