Apple is becoming a very successful company and i'm proud to be a part of it. Go to the Apple Store here in Greenville any weekend day and see the crowds for yourself if you don't believe me. Better yet look at the company quarterly sale numbers and the stock price value of the company. Apple is now ranked the second most valuable company in the world. Only one higher is Exxon-Mobil: Apple valuation tops $300 bn; may surpass Exxon Mobil - The Economic Times (http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/infotech/hardware/apple-valuation-tops-300-bn-may-surpass-exxon-mobil/articleshow/7218224.cms - broken link)
I've been to the Apple store. I still believe it's a niche market. People who buy iphone usually just love Apple and Steve. Lol. I do believe it's a nice product, but just prefer android to iphone.

And that's your right. Nothing wrong with it. I love Google. Always have. It might be a niche market but it is one that continues to grow by leaps and bounds. You can't deny that Apple is becoming a very successful company.

I saw that, and I was happy to see that the iPhone still can't keep up with Android.

By the way, Greenville-Spartanburg has been confirmed to get 4G from Verizon in the first half of 2011. Before, they just said 2011.

After February the iPhone will be thanks to it being on Verizon and AT&T: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2375763,00.asp Oh and for the haters out there:

Apple shipped a record 4.13 million Macintosh computers during the quarter, a unit increase of 23 percent over the year-ago quarter. Quarterly iPhone unit sales reached a record 16.24 million, up 86 percent from the year-ago quarter, and the company also sold 19.45 million iPods during the quarter, representing 7 percent unit decline over the year-ago quarter. Apple also sold a record 7.33 million iPads during the quarter.

Somehow I doubt that adding one US carrier will give them the 67% increase needed to surpass Android's number.

Oh you'd be suprised and it's on one of the largest carriers in the country. Quarterly iPhone unit sales reached a record 16.24 million, up 86 percent from the year-ago quarter and that's just on AT&T. I own neither the Droid or iPhone so I don't have a fight in this game. However, I do like Verizon better than AT&T.

At 8:10 p.m. EST yesterday, Verizon Wireless ceased online orders of iPhone 4 to existing customers and ended the most successful first day sales in the history of the company.

Will these phones have flash capabilities and more free apps? I'm sticking with android. Droid does.
