Thanks Half Million Lost. They are just starting to look at the area and so far they really like what they see. I'm just trying to find some fun places to take them. I will check out your suggestions.
Your sis and her partner should check out The Sugar Shack, The Twisted Lemon, Skittles, and South 29 all in the Greenville & Spartanburg area.
I believe the Sugar Shack is the establishment I referred to earlier that has become something totally different (at least at the location I remember it being), unless they moved.
I agree, I think it's great people like KClookingatSC have the privilege to speak freely about their beliefs. He was polite in sharing his opinion. I personally don't agree with it, nevertheless, I'm happy to have been able to hear it.
Com'on folks. The OP asked a legitimate question. If you can't answer it or don't want to answer i,. move on. We are not going to discuss anything about gay issues and that includes rignt, wrong, red, blue, evil, good, Jesus, God, religions, DNA or anything even remotely related to said subjects. Help out or move on. Of course if you wish to continue and receive infractions and have your posts deleted, I am more than happy to oblige.
Your sis and her partner should check out The Sugar Shack, The Twisted Lemon, Skittles, and South 29 all in the Greenville & Spartanburg area. That is funny about worrying because her partner is hispanic. I think a little research into the size of the Greenville Areas hispanic community and gay/lesbian hispanic community will put their worries to rest.
We went to the Sugar Shack and it was shut down. We did try the Twisted Lemon. It looks like a nice place but doesn't really get going until late at night. Thanks for the tips. I will check out the others soon.
Going to suggest they look at Athens, GA or Asheville, NC. The only places around here where they'd be openly accepted. It's sad to say that. Both are within 1.5 hrs of most of the Upstate.
Move to the deep south and wonder if it's openly accpting of hispanics and lesbians? lol, I think you know the answer without asking.
