Good hotels in Greenville area
We just bought our tickets to go down to Greenville. Can anyone recommend good hotels in the area (need to have indoor pool for the kids!). We would like to split up our time, staying in Greenville/Easley area for 3 days and then in a town further west toward the lakes for the other 3 days we will be down. Any suggestions??
Also, any advice about what to look for, where to visit (small towns with good schools, neighborhoods, shopping, etc...). Any info would be very much appreciated.
Thanks.

As for downtown, I would recommend the Hyatt or Poinsett Westin--two very good choices.

Yes I agree they are both very nice hotles. And I would recommend the Poinsett! But if you can't afford such high prices. There is pretty much any reg name hotels around that you can find any other place.

Also the new Hampton Inn and Suites just opened DT by the river. It is supposed to be very nice, but a little pricey. There is a website, just search for hampton inn +greenville and you should find it.

We stayed at the Hawthorne Suites in July...no indorr pool (it was outside) but we had a kitchen, full fridge, stove, micro, etc. It was on the east side of town.
