Your company has never been to the upstate. They'll be staying with you for 3 days.
- What 2 'must see' places in the upstate would you take them while they are visiting?
- You all plan to eat out twice...once for lunch and once for dinner. Where would you suggest for each meal?
- Let's say one day y'all decide to get in the car and take a little day trip. Where would you take them?

1. I would take them to Falls Park...of course! A walk around town to see all of the shops and to find the mice.
2. Harry and Jeans on Woodruff Rd for one meal and maybe one of the outdoor seating places in Greenville for the other.
3. A day trip to Biltmore is nice. They have a new village they opened on the property that is a nice addition to your day. Or maybe go to one of the lakes.

Will they be here on Friday evening? If so, take them downtown to Xperience. You won't want to miss this. Xperience: the world's first immersive event (http://www.xperiencegreenville.org - broken link)

1. Downtown Greenville; depending on weather-maybe a hike in Paris Mountain State Park or take in a Greenville Drive baseball game at Fluor Field
2. Lunch - Carolina Ale House; Dinner - it's hard to pick just one place, but I'm going to suggest American Grocery in th West End.
3. Asheville - Biltmore House & Winery; Grove Park Inn; shops in Biltmore Village; funky shops & restaurants near Pack Square. (Alternative: trip to Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia)

1. A walk from the Hyatt Fountain down to Falls Park...maybe even ride the trolley. If they like art both the Greenville Art Museum and BJU musuem are wonderful.
2. Tastes depend on your friends, but I'd take them to The Pita House for lunch and Soby's for dinner.
3. Table Rock for a short trip; Asheville for a longer daytrip.

I love this topic! It would be a nice topic to continue year-round.
Metromix has an interesting list of " 59 things to do in the Upstate this year." It could be a good place to start. The description for each photo appears on the right of the page.
