Default Art looking for a home in Greenville

My family owns a piece of art in a building in NC done by Joe Cox. It's one of the first he did and only 1 of 2 left in existence. It's big. 30' x 8'. If you want to read more of the story about the Color Wall go here. Joe Cox Color Wall

We are trying to find a home for it. I grew up in Greenville most of my life and live here now as well as my parents. Our family wants to give this piece of art to someone who will put it up where everyone can see it. It's as much and educational piece as it is art and it can change constantly. I've sent my story of the wall to several people in Greenville including the Peace Center with little traction. I really thought it would have made a great fit with the Peace Centers new remodel or at least somewhere downtown on main street.

So if you have any ideas please send me a pm or e-mail me or post them up. I'm all ears. marshall@828rugs.com

Thanks

The pics and video don't do it justice. It is really impressive in person.

I also took some video of it yesterday. A few of the lights aren't programmed so it has a few dark spots. But the color possibilities are endless.

I would send a note to the group that promotes Artisphere, as well as the art museum.

Better yet, get a note and photo fired off to Talk Greenville magazine.....this magazine is in most all homes of the local cultural elite (it has a huge social scene section). A small article in Talk Greenville would be a great way to get traction.

Wonder if there might be some new restaurants or other new businesses opening soon that might be interested in something like this?

Tried them as well. Having little luck. Beginning to think I might just mothball it and wait.
