Thanks. I might need to get someone over to water a few plants if no rain. Thanks for the weather update.

Probably depends on which side of which street you're talking about! lol Where I live (b/w Mauldin and SCTAC) we had clouds & thunder, but nothing more, despite there being warnings for Greenville & just about every other adjoining county!

Hey diddlydudette,

The precipitation accumulation on this image will reset once the storms move out, but if you check it in the next couple hours, you can see radar estimated rainfall totals for today:

NWS radar image from Greer, SC

Looks like the big cores missed Simpsonville a little to the east, but if you live on the east side of town you may have gotten a half inch. Sorry it's such a poor resolution map. You can get better on Google Earth, but it takes some doing.

Now you can check this page each morning to see what fell in the area the previous day:

CoCoRaHS - Community Collaborative Rain, Hail & Snow Network

You have to click on South Carolina and then Greenville County, but when it rains, several observations come in around Simpsonville.

Not a drop here on the southwest side of Mauldin.

I'm in the same corner of Mauldin and not a drop here either; was nice and cut the temp down almost 10 degrees but no measurable rain. Chances are Simpsonville had much of the same.
