CT&T is this company: CT&T


With it come up to 400 jobs for the state, half in Pittsburgh, half in the Philadelphia area. CT&T will establish facilities that will manufacture as well as market, sell and repair the cars in other areas of the country, beginning with Greenville, S.C., and Riverside County, Calif.

A few questions, though: Why is all the coverage about Pittsburgh with only a casual mention of Greenville, but there's not a single SC-based article about them coming to Greenville?

How much does one of these cars cost? I can't find this info on their website. Are they street legal in South Carolina?

Where does one go to apply for one of these jobs? I can't find a listing anywhere, I presume it's too soon.

these electric vehicle manufacturers are nonsense anyway... happy to see real business grace the upstate not these ridiculous ventures.. someone better will surely replace CT&T and Prottera when it falls apart at some point

I agree to a certain degree, but Proterra's concept really seems smart and doable. I mean, who wants to ride around in a little nutbucket that LOOKS like an electric car? But the Proterra vehicles are full-sized, honest-to-God buses.
