For those of your interested, two local waterparks will be opened for your furry friend to get wet for one day:
  • Waggin' at the Park takes place on Saturday, Sept. 10 at Discovery Island Waterpark from 9 a.m. 3:15 p.m. and again on Saturday, Sept. 24 at Otter Creek Waterpark from 9 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Times vary by size of dog, so be sure to check out the Greenville County Parks site here (http://greenvillerec.com/2011/07/18/waggin-at-the-waterpark/ - broken link)for details for your pooch!
    Advance Registration details:
    $15 admission for one dog and one human guest, or for $25 you may pre-register for both events. Proof of current vaccinations is required.
    If you wait to register the day-of, you will pay $20 for your pooch and one human friend.

That sounds like a lot of fun, but I wouldn't want to be the one to clean the pools after a day like that!

New Dog Park Grand Opening

The Pavilion Dog Park will officially open at 10 a.m. Tuesday 9/20 at 4806 Old Spartanburg Road with a special ceremony that includes vendors from Animal Care of Greenville, the Greenville Humane Society and Greenville County Soil & Water Conservation District.
