9 to 12 stories, as long as they are beautiful and add density. While I would love to have that signature tower that finally eclipses the Landmark Building, I would be ok if it didn't happen soon. If we can continue building density, you will be surprised the impact that it will make.

I'm an "all of the above" person myself. I'd love to see the day that Greenville has a substantial skyline. I think all things can coexist here. I'm OK with keeping taller buildings off Main St. proper and other concessions to the "feel" at street level, but growth will and must happen.

I understand. I'm all for that too, but I'm also ok with density first. DC doesn't have a true skyscraper, but that doesn't take away from the feeling when you're in there business district. Those mid rises make an huge impact.

Taller buildings are necessary and encouraged. They should be 15 to 20 levels high minimally.

you bet, would love to see our skyline grow..

1 or 2 more "large" buildings is all we need with the increased density of some mid sized buildings and you have yourself a pretty good skyline going

I understand all of you, but would you be ok with more density first?

Austin, TX is a much larger city, but it has a very nice skyline with a mix of architecture & heights:

It is spectacular at night when the Frost Bank building is lighted:

It would be nice to have a "signature" building like this for the Greenville skyline.

For comparison, this is what the Raleigh skyline is projected to look like over the next few years:

The Raleigh-Cary MSA is about twice the size of the Greenville MSA.
