We are clearly fans of a loser city so I guess we should blow up Greenville and start over.

when does a micro city actually grow? or does it stay Micro forever or is it rated 'going to be a major in X years? ?

I love Greenville, but I think we both will agree here. Greenville is in all reality a great deal larger than most on this list. This is sort of a false accomplishment, since we are the center of a 1.2+ million csa, and can't annex freely.

Exaclty how I feel.

This award is not an 'award' really that captures the essence of the upstate.

It's time Greenville -Spartanburg start taking on the reality it is a major city and "own' that. Move ahead and cater to what we really are. A mid-sized city with a diverse population, that needs to respect those truths by expanding to include all groups

Nah, I'd rather they just continue to not annex everything they can get their hands on for tax revenue purposes.

How does a city with a tax base of 62k provide services for a county if 450k+, who all use Greenville?
