I'm looking forward to seeing this roll through the plant.

Does anyone know they are going to reopen for plant tours at BMW? It said Summer 2014, but can't find any dates listed of when they are planning on starting tours again. I have family coming in June and know they would enjoy going on the tour.

TIA for any inside info!!

BMW tours are now back as of yesterday, June 9 th, 2014. My out of town family went today and absolutely loved the tour. Looking forward to going on it again myself and seeing what may have changed. Always a great attraction for out of town guests or newbies to the area to go to IMHO.

Our son FINALLY got to take the tour this morning, after 6-odd years of trying. It seemed every time he was in town, it was closed for one reason or another. I had taken the south tour, so the north tour was a bit different.

Default Children Restriction?

Is there an age restriction for the BMW tour? We have family coming with two boys ages 8 and 9. Just wondering.

I just want to compliment the servers in the Zentrum café. They are so, so friendly, and helpful. I would especially like to say that Amy is magnificent. I have been frequenting the café for over 15 years, and am a really regular customer there. I see her 2-3 times per week, and she never fails to give excellent service. She is not only friendly, but warm, to her customers. She treats them as if they are very important to her, as they should be treated.

You could not find any better server than Amy. She is really an inspiration, as to how to deal with the public daily, and always do it in the same wonderful, cheerful, and efficient manner.

She is an asset to any endeavor that deals with the public. I'm not sure I have ever experienced a better public service employee.
