Yep. That's the one I was thinking of! Big place. Three separate building last time I was there.

Powdersville Furniture Warehouse is another great place I have been to and recommend. It is about as easy to get to as any in the Upstate, being right on S.C. 153, about a mile off of I-85. Various big name brands at very reasonable prices and a great selection.

Thanks for all the great suggestions. We spent most of the day Saturday furniture shopping.

Unclaimed furniture was great we found several things there! We didn't get a chance to go to Powdersville, but went to Sofa Express, and another one I can't remember the name.

We still need some furniture so we will probably try the others mentioned once we get some unpacking done!

When I lived in Greenville, went to Unclaimed on 85 and found some good stuff - bought our Ashley furniture there, and I think it's cheaper there than at the Ashley store. Good stuff and really friendly. Lots to choose from. They even ship as far as Charlotte, where I live now...

I have been furniture shopping myself. I think it depends on what you are looking for. I agree Unclaimed Furnture has great deals. I am surprised no one mentions Jason's Furniture on Lauren's at Haywood Rd. I think that they have quite a bit of wood furniture, not sofas, and their prices are really great for the quality. We just bought our living room and kitchen furnture there. They were great to work with.

Make sure you check out Unclaimed Furniture at the Better Business Bureau site (F Rating). I sure wish I did!

Any suggestions would be great!

I recently had the pleasure of shopping at the unclaimed furniture place. If you take interstate 85 to exit 60 and then make a right when you first come off the interstate and then make a left at that first traffic light. You will see the unclaimed furniture showroom.

There they have excellent quality furniture from Broyhill and Ashley at very reasonable prices.

Good luck

I have bought Furnature from Unclamed Furnature and Furniture Warehouse Showrooms. Both of them were just fine.

The BBB is now showing Unclaimed Furniture with an A- rating as of Sept 2009. It is under new ownership.

no offense but the bbb is a rip, pay enough $$ and anyone can be on that list.

and as far as furniture goes, I have purchased living room sets twice from furniture marketplace off of Augusta rd. name brand stuff at discount prices, family owned and operated, very negotiable! I shopped everywhere in Greenville and they beat anyones price!
