Low prices and decent food.

We've tried to go to dinner there several times in the last month but there is always a long wait. Drove by tonight at about 6 and the parking lot was full with cars circling looking for spaces.

Don't forget about the really nice interior also. That large fish tank they have in the middle-back portion of the bar is awesome.

We went there a couple of weeks ago. It was so loud that I could not carry on a conversation with my friend across the table. Out of a party of 7 only two said they would return.

there is a fairly new one in augusta ga as well. we watched it being built as we drove by and anticipated the opening. first time we tried to go was for lunch right about the time church was letting out on a sunday and the parking lot was so full we gave up. tried it for lunch during the week and had no wait. i, too, praise the monte cristo sandwich. had not seen it on a menu anywhere in a loooong time and just had to try it. next time we went (also during the week) was because i woke up craving that sandwich. the second time we were seated in the bar area but it was fine. not loud or annoying in any way and our waiter was very good. both times i took half my sandwich home and heated it up for dinner as it was too large for for me for lunch and i could not stand to leave it there for the trashcan if i did not live 30 miles from augusta i would go more often.

Done the Cheddars thing .... meh .... was OK but nothing special. Not a bad experience/menu but not compelling either. It is nice to see any business thriving though so good on them.

Precisely my sentiments. Here is my instant analysis after one dinner at Cheddar's: If you like the food quality and atmosphere at Olive Garden, then you'll probably like this place. If not, then don't expect anything better.

Cheddar's is FAR from haute cuisine, but what they do, they do VERY WELL. The food isn't fancy, but it tastes really good.
