No, the one I'm talking about is HUNDREDS of feet tall. The thing is overwhelming. And to the far left is a jut-out about 40 or 50 ft tall.

Interesting. I thought the wall these people in the youtube were jumping off of was this wall near the dam. It's not the same?

Where is the other wall located on the lake?

Sorry we missed seeing that.

All I remember (it's been years) is that it is across the lake a ways from Devil's Fork camp grounds. I don't know that it is famous for jumping off of. Matter of fact I would bet most people wouldn't see it as a good place to jump because it is a pretty vertical climb. We were into rock-climbing back then and figured it'd be a lot of fun (and it was).

Surprising to hear that the water was semi-warm in November. We were there in July and it was chilly. Could have just seemed colder because we let our bodies get so hot riding in the boat before swimming. Gorgeous lake.

Stop telling people about Lake Jocassee. It's ours. I'm always glad when people tell me that they go to Lake Hartwell or Lake Keowee because I like how private Lake Jocassee feels.
