Hi guys! I thought it would be a good idea to start a thread for the Christmas activities coming up in the upstate.
Here is what I can up with:

I was there last year - it was very nice, despite the light rain at the beginning. It's a well-run parade, and kids love it.

Actually the OP of that post was asking for the Anderson area but the first dozen or so responses were for activities in the Greenville area. Never the less, we should combine them all into one post to make things less confusing.

At the Pavilion in Taylors (http://greenvillerec.com/pavilion-2/ - broken link) - I saw one of these a few years ago. Nice enough if you enjoy watching skating:

Christmas on Ice

An all star cast of 65 skaters will take to the ice on December 9 & 10 at 6 pm when
the Pavilion skating school presents it annual holiday show. This year's theme,
A Pavilion Christmas Day Parade, features skaters of all ages in costume performing
to seasonal music.

The event is free of charge.
