That is pretty much the only thing the Gamecocks have done all season long and can brag about. When was the last time USC won a conference title, BCS bowl game, or national championship? Oh and who did you guys play tonight for the SEC Championship? If you're going to troll/bait, try and do a better job at it. I should be thanking you guys though because that whoopin you gave our team woke them up and caused them to go all out against Virginia Tech. Heck, I don't even remember USC beating us lask week now.

Cograts to Coach Swinney and the Tigers! Where was this team in the previous several games?

BTW - I would have rooted for S. Carolina if they'd gone to the SEC championship!

Congrats to Clemson. This is great for South Carolina, as it has been at least 30 years since a large SC college football team (USC or Clemson) won a conference championship. Way to go Clemson!!!

G-Man....you all played a good game last night. Congrats on winning the ACC.

As for the conference title stuff, you know better than that. Comparing college football conference titles between schools in different conferences is irrelevant. Sure, I want Carolina to win the SEC, but we are not currently at that level...not sure anyone can beat LSU. If you are comparing conference or division titles in the NFL it means something because all teams are on equal footing. However, in college, comparing titles won in a Mountian West Conference for example with a Big 12 school is irrelevant. As for National Titles, doesn't your sole national title have an asterik courtesy of the NCAA????

GSupstate, do you ever check facts????...there are some SC schools that have won conference titles in the past 30 years. Both Wofford & Furman have won the Southern Conference title in that time frame. And, both of these schools do it while maintaining very tough academic programs (see current Washington Post article about Wofford).

BTW G-man....since you don't remember last week, the score was 34 - 13....and it wasn't that close.

Cool that the Orange Bowl is one of the 4 championship BCS bowls (Orange, Rose, Fiesta and Sugar) along with the championship title game. Clemson is the only SC college going to one of these 4 bowls. Great day for Clemson and great press for South Carolina.
