I liked going to Ruby Tuesday for cheese fries, Colossal Burgers, and the salad bar.

I miss that old Colossal Burger, the new one sucks! RTs changed their menu, what, last year, and I haven't enjoyed going since.
Do you guys remember the first one at the Hayword mall? It seems so exotic back in the late 70's.In the 80's we went there for a 3-for-1 one happy hour. They brought out one drink an two mini bottles with it.They could be served after happy hour, or taken home in your pocket if you felt like it.I'm surprised I survived.
Yes. The first and original Ruby Tuesday at Haywood is where the music and video store FYE or whatever it's called is now. Then they moved to the front of the mall in the location that eventually became Panera and now Cheesecake Factory.

I enjoyed both Ruby Tuesday locations at Haywood Mall. It was nice to get off from work, head over to the mall, enjoy dinner at the later location, and walk around the mall.
I hear that Fix coffee, near Stone street, near To Dye For salon and Community Tap, has closed its doors.
It was the one in the triangle shaped building.
Friend went by and said they were closed for business!
It was called Java Fix Coffee House, and yes it's gone out of business, closed permanently, according to their Facebook page. (I hate "closed for business," as it's an idiom that makes no sense whatsoever. A place can be open for business but certainly not closed for business.)
