Haven't seen anything official, but the former Waffle House/Brazilian place/Kostas and now Harbor Seafood on Wade Hampton has been closed for over a month now. That place can't seem to find the right tenant; the access to it is quite difficult from both sides of Wade Hampton.

I noticed that Sonny's BBQ in Powdersville is closed yesterday. I never ate at that location but found the BBQ at other Sonny's locations to be pretty crummy.

The size of the restaurant and location should be a great opportunity for someone.

There's discussion about this a few pages back. They announced 3 weeks ago they were closing because they lost the lease on the building. Someone else is already, apparently, primed to move in.

It might've been this way for a little while, but there's a bright orange chain wrapped around the door handles of the Pita Pit in downtown Greenville. Looks like it's gone for good.

Yelp reports it as having closed, too.

There was a neat bar/cafe right across the street from Ivy Salon downtown that is closed. I can't remember the name but they had terrific salads, the people were friendly and the live music was usually pretty good. Does anyone know the name or know if they perhaps moved locations??? I'd like to find that place again.......

Was it Moe Joe?

The word going around is that there were too many complaints about the noise from live performances, no matter what Moe Joe did to accommodate (limiting what instruments were used after a certain time, etc.).

The one in Clemson is still around.

Jon's Pizza in Mauldin is closing its doors on Sunday. Didn't sound money related, more that Jon wanted to try new things and to have a better work life balance.
