Radioshack at Cherrydale already has "Store Closing" sign up.

The recently rebranded Broad & River Pub now closed permanently.

Also, adding delivery to all those apartments around it eventually would not be a bad idea for the next restaurant to occupy that building.

I am aware H. H. Gregg was closing stores several weeks ago. None of its South Carolina stores were on the list.

There isn't a list anymore; every location is closing.

When I drove by the one off Woodruff Rd. earlier this afternoon, there were people holding "going out of business" signs announcing up to 30% off.

Ditto for Spartanburg on seeing someone with a sign on 29.

Just like Circuit City, I am sorry to see regional chain HHGregg close. That will only leave Best Buy as the major big box electronics retailer. Although Fry's and MicroCenter still exist in certain markets such as Atlanta.

Best buy will be going the way of the dinosaur eventually. With online retailers including shipping with the price, and it getting cheaper and cheaper to make electronics and ship them there's no need to shop at these stores, you can do better comparison shopping online and not have to be bothered by salespeople who usually don't know what they are talking about.
