Best Buy seems to be doing better in recent years (Amazon's show room though!). I always preferred BB to Hhgregg and BB over Amazon for any electronics (Would rather pick up in person then ship). Not really sad to see Hhgregg go since I didn't shop there...didn't like commission stalkers (did they still do that?). Circuit City, originally bought by Systemax (TigerDirect, CompUSA) when they went bankrupt, was planning on re emerging in 2016 in retail stores under a new owner but news has been silent since middle of last year...guessing plans on hold.

That's another thing, how many more car washes do we need? I wonder what they will do with the old Ryan's off Wade Hampton in Greer?

So, apparently the Denny's that closed for 'remodeling' for 3 days in January are still closed. Wade Hampton, Boiling Springs and Spartanburg locations.

Seems to me there's more going on than a simple remodel here.. Anyone know the facts?

Yeah, Yelp! says it is. I wonder what happened. My brother went to high school with the owner's kids years ago.

Salsarita's at Greenridge has closed. Signage was gone. Looks like Pelham Rd. is still open. I think their visibility at Greenridge would have been much better by being located at the front with the other restaurants.

Sutton's Shoes on Orchard Park has banners up for a Store Closing Sale. The Sutton family announced last month that the store would be closing.
