Any menu changes at Overlook Grill must first be approved by the City of Greenville. I will be shocked if Table 301 doesn't at least attempt to add a personal touch to their latest acquisition, despite the regulation.
Let's call this out as BS......
Please excuse the my no PC response....Lets see some supporting data to your claim.

Mug n Muffin has relocated from 2222 Augusta St to 3017 Augusta St in the building formerly housing Melvina's Cafe. I didn't realize Melvina's had closed but I haven't eaten there in a few years due to the limited menu and limited hours. Mug n Muffin has not changed their phone number and except for the addition of a very limited lunch buffet M-F (2 meats and 3 sides) they have not changed their menu. I mostly went there for the quiche but this location is further from my work, so I probably will not go there as often. They just moved this past Saturday June 2nd.

Some clarification on the City Restaurant Menu Approval Board? What's the criteria?
Overlook Grill is owned by The City of Greenville. Carl Sobocinski registered 'Falls Park Eatery, LLC' in early April, then applied to take over management of the restaurant. The application stated very clearly that any changes to the restaurant, including the menu, must be approved by the City's parks & recreation department.

That's what I thought it might be. It is technically owned by the City, just like any other restaurant/snack area in a city park.
Friend said Confections Carnival Foods on Poinsett in Greer is closed - geez, how surprising! I hate to see any viable business closing but I just didn't see how in the world anyone thought a business like this would make it.
