I did not know that building was a former skating rink. He mentioned that tonight on the news. Any long time Greenvillians remember that and the name of the rink? Must have been built around the late 70s early 80s when the two malls were built.

The old property card on the county website shows VBS Enterprises, dba Skateworld as a property owner of that location from mid 1981-1988. I'm stunned that that place lasted as long as it did. The owner seemed like a real charmer (heavy, heavy dose of sarcasm) and no one ever seemed to have any positive comments about the food/service/cost.

Looks like Peppinos Pizza Greenville location has closed. It was great pizza and they delivered. Anyone know of decent pizza that delivers around the Miller Rd area? I refuse to eat the garbage from Pizza hut, Papa Johns or Dominos... but looks like these are the only options now.

Pizza Hut is good only for dine in. If they have more authentic locations that are dine in, they would have more business.

I am not sure who would have the better delivery service. I have used Papa John's, Domino's and Wedgy's in the past. In my opinion, Papa John's does have better quality pizza from those who deliver.

Being near Miller Road, I would definitely check out Moretti's Pizzeria & Bar on East Butler Road, Olympian on Congaree Road or Brixx at the Shoppes at Greenridge on Woodruff Road. Moretti's and Olympian have very good pizza if dining in.

My friend from New York highly recommends "Badda Bing" Pizza, which is on Woodruff behind Brusters Custard and Burger King- it used to be "Sexy Taco". I hope you like it!

If it's a franchised store, it may remain open according to the article.

Yes, it would be at Collins Corner on East Wade Hampton Boulevard at Arlington Road (SC-357). I do not expect that location to last much longer along with other businesses leaving Collins Corner (Harrison's Workwear to location closure, CVS pharmacy to relocation).
