The Sav-a-Lot/Rite Aid store in Berea on 25 near Ingles is in the process of closing. I think it had been underperforming. There is another Sav-a Lot (without Rite Aid) just a mile or so down at Farrs Bridge/25 in the old Hamrick's plaza.
Still curious as to what will happen to the other area dual branded Sav-a Lot/Rite Aid stores after the Walgreens acquisition of Rite Aid occurs.
Dollar Tree is moving out of White Horse Plaza next to Walmart into a larger free-standing store next door behind Applebee's.
Rite Aid #11641/Save-A-Lot #24758, 6700 White Horse Road, Greenville, South Carolina 29611-2504
Rite Aid #11641/Save-A-Lot #24758 closing is not surprising. Save-A-Lot #23779, Westgate Shopping Center, 7912 White Horse Road, Greenville, South Carolina 29617-1832, opened years before the Rite Aid/Save-A-Lot combination began.
I do not know when Ingle's #74, 6605 White Horse Road, Greenville, South Carolina 29611-2539, will relocate to its new store location at the northeast quadrant of the intersection of White Horse Road and Berea Drive.
Sorry to see the remaining Radioshack on Wade Hampton in Taylors across from Walmart is in the process of closing. Clearance and liquidation sale is currently underway. Not sure if Cherrydale and Greer locations will remain open. Sorry to see the demise of one of my favorite stores, although the recent combination with Sprint is not quite the same as the old store. And the Antennacraft reception products were discontinued in the recent bankruptcy.

Not entirely sure they are closing. I talked to a guy at Seneca today and he said they're getting all the inventory from the closed stores and that's why it's a clearance sale.
He said the only store that he knew was closing was Greenwood. But.. there's news out there that many stores are closing. The one in Seneca had the "Clearance Sale" signs, but no "Store Closing" sign.

RadioShack is done. As 200 of 1,500 stores are closing, I wonder how long the 1,300 remaining stores will last. If stores clear out their inventory through clearance sales, it could be quicker to close them.
Denny's on WH is temporarily closed for renovations, should reopen after complete according to the sign.
