Default Office Depot

Office Depot announced yesterday the company will close up to 400 stores. One hundred fifty of those stores will close by year's end. The rest will close by 2016.

There is no word which stores in Greenville County or surrounding areas will close. The Taylors location is likely to close because it reduced in size and is not performing well. Either Office Depot or OfficeMax in Spartanburg will likely close because they are in close proximity.

Liquid Highway on Mills avenue has closed, which was their last storefront. That leaves their Halton Rd and East North drive-through locations.

I agree. The WYFF investigation made me stop going there.

Not sure when this happened, but I just noticed that Mauldin Fine Foods (in Mauldin, of course) has closed for good.

There is a restaurant going in at the Bi-Lo next to the ABC store. Could Fine Foods be moving?

Also in Mauldin, Mauldin Pub appears to be for sale and was closed today.

Did Mauldin Fine Foods own their site or was it leased? They opened in 1995. If they were on a 20-year lease that was not being renewed, I could see them closing.
