Alas, the old Sonic on on WHB (2801 WHB) near Publix/Office Depot has been torn down. I was hoping that another Sonic franchise would open up in that location.

Reminds me of when, either in the late '90s or the early '00s, the Sonic on Woodruff was shut down and became a car lot, then closed and became a Sonic again.

The demolition means something should be on the way. I wonder if this will be the site of Bojangle's desired location in Taylors.

But the former space that OD was in has been empty since the remodel a few years ago.
The former Sonic has sat vacant for several years. It had signage for lease or sale. I wonder if those signs have been removed.
Office Depot, after acquiring OfficeMax, will have several store closures coming up. The Hampton Village location has not been doing well. I do not know if downsizing and reducing inventory has helped the location.
I did see that Mimi's Cafe was for sale on loopnet, so maybe it was sold?
