Presidential candidate stops in the Upstate thread
Just for informational purposes - in case anyone is interested in attending any candidate events that will be taking place in the Upstate over the next two weeks before the South Carolina primary on January 21.
Sunday, January 8th
3:00pm: "Sundaes on Sunday" with Rick Perry at The Beacon in Spartanburg. Free and open to public.
4:00pm: Rally & Steelers/Broncos watch party with Rick Santorum at Chiefs Wings & Firewater on Congaree Rd. in Greenville. Free and open to public.
Monday, January 9th
8:30am: Rick Perry scheduled to stop at Mama Penn's Restaurant in Anderson.
Wednesday, January 11th
2:00pm: Town Hall with Newt Gingrich at The Beacon in Spartanburg. Free and open to public.
There will probably be LOTS more of events in the next two weeks. Hopefully people can post info on the happenings around the Upstate as you hear of them!

10:15am - Pickens - Main Street walk (Pickens County Courthouse)
5:30pm - Greenville - Meet and Greet at Stax Original on Poinsett Highway
