Greenville Apartments? (Simpsonville: appointed, rentals, new home)

Hi -
My husband and I are thinking of relocating to the Greenville area, and visited Greenville this past weekend - and loved it. We like the Simpsonville area a lot.
We scouted out some apt. complexes that we saw online (as we would be renting 1st while building a new home)... and some of the complexes didn't look that well taken care of and run down.

Can any of the locals suggest some apt. complexes that are reputable and in safe areas? We are looking to spend about 600-750 for a 2 bedroom apt.
I looked online on aptfinder.com and aptguide.com but the websites make the complexes seem like resorts, and that is soooo not the truth when you drive into them. We were very disappointed by most. So - does anyone have any suggestions for complexes in the Simpsonville area that have a good repuatation?

Also just an F.Y.I do a search within the forum to pull up threads that already have been previously posted that have information in them much easier. You can search rentals, apartments etc... and two page of information comes up hope that helps!
