I haven't been to Liberty in a few years now, but it is only a short drive west of Easley on U.S. 123 (freeway
) or S.C. 93. It is a nice old small town with a tiny downtown that may have been fixed up a bit since I was last there. I know people who live in that area and enjoy the rural feel. It is not too far from Clemson, the lakes, and the mountains, so you have plenty to do nearby. Plenty of shopping is also nearby in Easley. A small bit of trivia: Liberty was used to film a set in the 1999 movie called 'Chill Factor.'
