Anyone know what the story is or if they have reopened elsewhere?

Wonder if that's the space that Brioso is moving to?? HATE to see Formano's closed - was really looking forward to trying them based on so many rave reviews!

From their Facebook page...

Formano's Italian Grill Greenville, SC
We would like to thank all of our wonderful patrons that have supported us here in Greenville, SC. Due to a terrible, greedy landlord, we had to shut our doors. We are so grateful for all of the loyalty and gratitude we have received over the past 2 1/2 years!! Thank you, Patti and Bruce Forman

This news was posted earlier in the "recently closed business thread".

That really sucks.

You'd think the landlord would get the hint. They can hardly keep a tenant in those two buildings, and the old duke's location has been vacant forever.

If your landlord charges too much....you move. If they had properly managed their money, they would have been able to do this.

I think there has to be more to this story.

I did go to Formano's once - the food was just OK and the service was horrible. The service was the reason we never went back. There was only 4 tables there during lunch when we went (about a year ago) and it took 2 hours to get in and out.
