Same here. That doesn't really bother me too much. I also notice that many homes in my price range do not have garages. What does a single car garage add to the value of a house?

I only have a driveway now and the people next to me (who just moved out) had children who would play soccer. We both have large backyards, but they liked to play in the street or between the houses. I wasn't the only person who would ask them to stop hitting the cars. I now have a porch screen that needs to be fixed because a soccer ball was slammed into it. Anyway, I thought a garage would resolve that issue (at least the car!) and it would also deter car thieves. Funny thing is I live in a nice area and I woke up one morning to find deep scratches all around my gas tank cover as if someone was trying to open it. I'm surprised the alarm didn't go off, but the flashing light might be why he/she didn't try to break into it. Maybe it did go off. Nobody ever pays any attention to alarms anyway. I've seen cops drive by cars that were honking!

Sometimes I don't like to post these things, because I might sound like an old hag who complains a lot, but I'm actually a very good neighbor who loves children.

$150,000 is good in just about any of the city's suburban areas, as you will see after doing a bit of research.
