Moving to Simpsonville...........looking at homes in Neely Farms subdivision. Anyone out there familiar with it? Know Lazarus Shouse built many of the homes we are looking into. What is the consensus on that builder. Thanks for any input to help with our home buying decision. The homes in that subdivision seem a bit pricier than surrounding subdivisions. But we were told it was built mostly by local and custom builders. Plus the amenities, trees and overall feel of the neighborhood is nice. We could probably get more house for our money in a McCar subdivision but I have read negative comments on their quality of building.
Thanks a bunch. Looking forward to the move.
Very good builder and very nice development! I have nothing negative to share about that place. Lazarus-Shouse has been building great homes for more than three decades now. The Verdmont development across from Neely Farms is also very nice.
Neely Farm is a well established neighborhood with a great community feel and the layout is perfect - close to neighbor but not too close. A bit pricier yes but you get what you pay for and Neely has fantastic amenities [pool, tennis, soccer fields, huge tot lot, pond, and their own chronicle which lists dozens of activities within the community and at the clubhouse (yoga, empty nesters group, toddler group, garden club, tennis club, swim team, guppies, etc.). NEELY FARM is known as a great place to live and lives up to its reputation!
Thank you both for the great feedback. I really appreciate local input. We should be moving just in time to enjoy the beautiful fall season and color changes that I so enjoy.
We loved Neely Farm too and is where we are hoping to move to. Hope you find a house you like.
