We did it! (Greenville, Anderson: house, moving, area)

Well we finally did it! My husband accepted the job offer, and we are on our way! Excited, scared, you name it, we have been there. It has been a crazy 4 months since this all started. He is due to start at his new job on 12/3. I am giving my 2 weeks on Friday to give me more time to get our house ready to put it on the market. Hopefully, all this will go smoothly. We will be down in mid-October to start the house hunt....wow -we still can't believe it. It went from "are we moving" to "we are moving". Thanks to all for the encouragement and the advice. We will probably be posting more questions as the days go by, and more things come to mind. See y'all real soon!

Congratulations and good luck with all the preparations. I moved here from Chicago 4 years ago and if Erie gets snow like Chicago does you are probably going to enjoy your first ice storm; just stock up when you are encouraged to do so and don't think about going anywhere till it melts.

We are planing to move to Anderson next Summer. Can you give us any good hints based on your experiences? Where did you move to? We are planing to be in the area middle of October to do some "investigating?
