Greenridge and Magnolia Park should have exits directly onto 385 or 85. (period) It would alleviate a ton of traffic from those people attempting to leave Greenridge and get back to either highway, which is probably what 70% of people leaving are attempting to do.
Greenridge could have one by Longhorn where currently you can only turn left towards Panera. It could have merge into the current ramp from Woodruff road right there. Maybe... The 85 exit for Woodruff and 385 could have another exit ramp for into Greenridge where it could connect with the road between OfficeMax and Dick's. Not sure about people going the other directions on 85 but that could help somewhat. Probably would need some complex flyover for going on the interstate the other way.
Magnolia Park has some room to get creative with an exit there at 385...
Between Dick's and Office Max could dump onto 85 North. Between Total Wine and Lowes could dump onto 385 South. The possibilities for Magnolia Park are almost endless at this stage.

Well between Dick's and Office Max could be used for both since right after people got on 85 there is the exit to change over to 385 but that interchange is already kind of hectic.

For the shoppes at Greenridge, better and far cheaper to tie in with the ramp by longhorn used by Carolina Pointe Parkway. This would allow access to 85 North and 385 N&S and room to actually merge. The last thing that is needed is addtional lane traffic trying merge in the all the traffic 385 south traffic trying get off at Woodruff and the 85 north traffic trying to get onto 385 south. Traffic getting off of 85 north could potentially come in between dicks and office max.
Magnolia Park is a bigger challenge because interstate standards dictate 1 mile between interchanges in urban areas. There are ways around this with feeder roads & flyovers etc, definitely not cheap.
This interchange is already scheduled to be rebuilt and don't recall direct access to either development being part of any of the proposed plans.

Too bad they haven't considered it. It would have helped traffic.
The entire area along Woodruff from Costco to Miller/Garlington Rds needs to be re-engineered from the ground up. There are too many intersecting roads with too many traffic lights within too small a space. It's a lose/lose proposition as it is now.
With building permits filed and construction, maybe spring 2013?

Woodruff Road has all the signalized intersections it needs from Roper Mountain to Garlington and Miller Roads. Limiting access to multiple sites by funneling traffic onto side roads into Woodruff Road would help. Rebuilding Woodruff Road/I-85 into a SPUI would help tremedously.
A lot of people have been wondering what ours will look like. Well, earlier this month a Dave & Buster's the exact same size and design as the proposed Greenville location opened in Boise. Here is a photo gallery of it: Dave and Busters Boise Grand Opening - January 2013 - Tamara Kenyon Photography Expect the one at Magnolia Park to look exactly the same overall.
