I am unaware of anything being built on the site of former Ingle's Markets #41. It still owns the site. I am unaware of any planned building activity.

I do not know of any building activity near the site also.

Would this be the northeast corner of West Georgia Road and Kemet Way?

I've noticed survey crews and now stakes with flags at the land next to the GHS facility at W. Georgia and Standing Springs. Also looks like they're starting something by clearing some trees next to the new dentist office across from Spinx/BP. Any idea what's going on with either of these???

The southwest corner of West Georgia Road and Stenhouse Road, Greenville County PIN/Tax Map #0574040100700, is a site of 9.564 acres owned by Stenhouse LLC.

This site would have two logical uses. The first use would be an expansion of Greenville Health System's affiliated practices at 1409 West Georgia Road, Simpsonville, South Carolina 29680-6322. The second use would be a supermarket. West Georgia Road has many affluent neighborhoods that can use a supermarket to compete against Food Lion #2212, located at 1004 West Georgia Road, Simpsonville, South Carolina 29680-6215.

Maybe this is the site of the walmart neighborhood market that someone was talking about going on Georgia Road. I could see that as a ok spot for one as its far enough away from the Simpsonville walmart its self.

Default Walmart Neighborhood Market on West Georgia Road: Speculation

I would not be surprised to see Walmart Neighborhood Market or another supermarket locate here. It is a very good location to serve many affluent communities.

In regards to Walmart, I would expect it to infill across southwestern Greenville County. The Moonville community can definitely support a Walmart Supercenter.

In regards to other sites for supermarkets along West Georgia Road, I could see one at the intersection of Fork Shoals Road.

I do not see Walmart owning the site yet. Is it in the process of buying the site for the Neighborhood Market, or will it be leasing it?

While I would love to believe you on the Walmart, can you provide some evidence?
