There's an opening soon sign for a Santorini Greek and Italian restaurant in Lyman. It's going into the former Pizza Hut building at the corner of 129 and 292, behind the Spinx station on 29.
Lyman has needed a Greek/Italian restaurant for awhile. Santorini will be a good addition and will create competition with Olive Tree in Duncan.
Pizza Hut did well at this location until leaving in late 2010/early 2011. I know Pepperoni Express does some business, but it does not hurt to enjoy stuff crust pizza in Lyman.
Arby's at 1790 Asheville Highway recently closed and will be replaced by Chick-fil-A. (Spartanburg Herald-Journal, 2013-04-13)
