I predict the good Bi-Lo locations will be redeveloped into other grocery stores. I could see Publix using it as an opportunity to expand in this market. Some of the poor Bi-Lo locations will likely end up empty or being subdivided into smaller stores.

A lot of the Rite-Aid locations will probably become dollar stores. It's basically the same concept without a pharmacy and with somewhat lower prices.

A supermarket is absent obviously.
While it is not a “supermarket”, the Hub City Coop is a grocery store. It’s on Liberty Street, and anybody can shop there. It is open to the public.

We became members before they opened and we really like shopping there. We have lunch there several times a month.
