Took me about an hour and a half. I was sad to see that many races only have 1 candidate running unopposed. I would prefer to see several parties on the ballot to choose from - looks like the republican primary is the last spot to make any kind of choice in many of the elections in this area.
About the same here time wise. Not sure how that compares to prior elections since this is our first in SC.
I was quite surprised to see that most of my ballot had no opposition as well.
I would say that democrats do well in more urban areas and republicans better in more rural areas. That said in urban areas the deaths from car accidents make sense to be lower as there is more mass transit available for commuting, people commute less, and in cities speed limits are lower than in rural areas (making accidents less damaging). I doubt voting republican or democrat is going to change this statistic.
