Does anyone know of a lakefront property that allows Park Model Mobile Homes for sale?
Would consider Lot for sale, or lot for rent.

Maybe try Carolina Landing (http://www.inspire21.com/landing.html - broken link) on Lake Hartwell? I don't know if they allow them or not, but RVers can park there for long periods of time in a nice "village" setting, and I vaguely remember other types of trailers in one section of the preserve.

Are there any alligators in these lakes? Also can anyone recommend a lake that allows swimming and motor boats in the Greenville surrounding areas?

There are no alligators in the entire Upstate that I am aware of! I don't think they make it anywhere near this far inland from the coast.

I recommend Lake Jocassee for family boating and swimming in the Upstate. Other lakes I recommend include, Lake Keowee and Lake Hartwell.

I couldn't help but notice that some people are selling what looks like beaten-up fishing shacks along Lake Hartwell. Very *expensive* fishing shacks. I know, you're paying for the view.
It doesn't strike me as a good area for middle class families who can't afford a luxury lakefront property but could be fantastic as a weekend getaway.

I have friends who purchased a 4 bed/2.5 bath home on Lake Hartwell for $190K. Deals are out there...just have to look for them or have a good agent.

I know some people who purchased a similar priced home on hartwell, then resold with very little renovations for around 400K, amazing, but I think there are alot of people looking in this area for waterfront, many transplants from florida, etc.
