Verdae Properties has purchased the old SAMs building on Lauren's Rd. they own thr Old Time Pottery bldg. & Books a Million as well. They plan to incorporate these buildings into their long term development plan.

Well, I was trying to delete this as I noticed it was addressed in the retail/restaurant thread, but oh well. They haven't said anything but that they will incorporate it into there other development. It did say long term so you may have a while.

Do they plan to remodel and re-tenant these buildings for a retail area, or tear down and repurpose the property? Any idea?

They didn't give any details in the article I received. I know a salesperson there who is friends with the higher ups. I will see what I can find out but since it said long term they may not have a plan yet.
