My wife and I have a Quaker Parrot and started a meetup.com group for other parrot/bird owners in the Upstate - particularly the Greenville area. Thought I'd check here if anyone else owned any birds/parrots and was interested in joining the group:

Parrot Parents of the Upstate (Greenville, SC) - Meetup

Anyway if it's something you might be interested in, check out the link above.

We have a male Quaker and a female Cockatiel, both are very domesticated. I bookmarked your site.

Just came back from the vet- I accidentally stepped on one of my cockatiels- he's fine- but I was wondering where you take your pet birds in Greenville? I can't find an avian vet there in my online search.

I believe Cleveland Park has a small animal vet.

Thanks; I couldn't find any info on their site, but I did find this one, in Duncan, which would be about 30 minutes from where we would be living, pretty far for an emergency : !HealthPointe Veterinary Clinic

Thanks! That one is also a distance away, but it is good to have a choice.
