If construction does not convene soon, Riverside Crossing may not be up by next summer. Overhead utility lines cross East Suber Road and the site. They need to be relocated.

The construction fence in front of Kohl's has been removed. The parking lot has undergone pressure washing to clean up and remove construction debris.

I drive by there almost every day and that shopping center looks like a before and after picture. They can't possibly leave the other half looking so dilapidated like that, can they? The Kohls looks so nice and everything to the right of it looks like an abandoned strip mall.

I agree. After all this time, I can't believe they can't find some more Class A retail for that strip with a great anchor like Kohls.

The former Community Cash and adjacent spaces seem to be in disrepair. I do not know if it is worth the effort renovating when razing and building anew could be an option.

I have thought Publix would be a great tenant at Piedmont Marketplace with an access road to North Buncombe Road.
