Another visit to Lidl today, spoke to a manager (different than before) and once again, asked them about potential stores in Greer. Was told the same thing, a store on WH around Buncome Rd area. Still cannot find any info about this. Was also told there is a store going to be built on Brushy Creek, and one in the Wellford/Lyman area. Anyone have any info that's maybe a little more detailed than the above???

Unless a grocery store locates at the northwest corner of South Buncombe Road and Brushy Creek Road, I do not see any grocery stores locating along the Brushy Creek Road corridor.

There was an opportunity for a supermarket to locate on Brushy Creek Road east of Taylors Road. That site has become another residential development. Another supermarket remains desired in the Brushy Creek Road/Hudson Road/Old Spartanburg Road trade area.

I am still waiting to know something concrete about Publix coming to the City of Greer.

Went to the Greer park today and noticed on Cannon, across street from Spinning Jenny, on the corner, the old bldg there is being revamped. Asked a worker outside what it was going to be - gym.

Well deserved. I hope the search for the new Chamber CEO goes well. Mark Owens has done a fantastic job. Greer has great leadership.

Mark's Small Engine Repair has moved and expanded to 2697 Old Ansel School Road in Greer. His number has stayed the same 864-399-3062. He will be a Briggs and Stratton authorized dealer.

This is who I take my mower, tiller and chainsaw to for repair. He does great work and is reasonably priced. I happily recommend him.

WingStop going into the Target shopping center. This is great news, now I don't have to go to BWW on Woodruff to bring homer wings.
